I’ve had a bit of a convoluted career path, in part due to being a trailing spouse. If there is a theme in my work life, it’s probably “learning, organization, and stories.” I love to learn new things, which is what science is all about, and I’m good at organizing thoughts and ideas, which is what writing is really about. I also love stories – stories of people, history, discovery, what have you.
